Pooja Pant is a media artist, filmmaker, photographer and a community activist. She was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal but spent many years of her adult life travelling the globe. She is currently based in Amsterdam.

She co-founded Voices Of Women Media in Amsterdam; a women's organisation that provides multi-media skills to marginilised groups of women.

Visually trained by Martin Travers, she picked up photography twelve years ago and has been actively pursing her ideas and storytelling through film and photography.

Pooja has currently finished her first short film "From H. to B.” that is screening in festivals worldwide.
